CHANGEMAKERS

CHANGEMAKER: someone who is taking creative action to solve a social problem

What do a group of school children, truckers and a Nobel Peace Prize winner all have in common? Each is a changemaker - part of a growing movement that demonstrates how anyone, young or old, can make a difference from anywhere in the world.

Given WHF’s commitment to deliver change, its CHANGEMAKERS initiative is one of the fundamental programmes. WHF CHANGEMAKERS initiative seeks to connect, support and amplify the work and voices of hundreds of changemakers, activists and innovators from all regions of the world who address the current social and environmental challenges.

WHF searches, identifies and selects changemakers, activists and leaders. We also connect them through intensive in-person and online retreats and via our global community and support their initiatives through collaboration grants and extensive capacity building. Members of this network have access to WHF convenings for intensive experience of bonding, learning, and collaborating with tailored skills-building sessions and connections to partners and allies.

CHANGEMAKER AWARDS
